Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca says there could be problems if the club fails to offload a large number of players before the summer window closes.
The Blues have already signed 11 players this summer, taking their first-team squad to over 40.
Earlier this week, Maresca confirm that Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell were part of a 15-man group order to train separately from the first-team squad.
“Now, with the squad we have, I work with 22, 23 or 21 players, not 42 players, otherwise it would be impossible,” Maresca said.
“It’s impossible for any manager in the world to have a training session with 45 players. It’s impossible. You can’t do that.”
Conor Gallagher has left Atletico Madrid in a deal some Chelsea fans are against, while homegrown Armando Broja is set to join Ipswich on loan with an option to buy.
Several others have uncertain futures, including defenders Chilwell, Axel Disasi and Trevoh Chalobah, and midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.
“I just tell the players I like and don’t like, Promotion Ufabet and because there’s a week or 10 days left before the transfer window closes, hopefully we can find a solution for all of them.”
“When you find a solution, everyone is happy. When you don’t find a solution, you may have problems.”
